My time in the Executive Board is something that I will always carry with me for the rest of my life! As someone pursuing Pre-Med, being VP PR & Marketing is something that is definitely outside of that path, but it has helped me see potential in myself and others. Throughout my life, I always found that art and being creative is something that I loved doing. Before being in Alpha Chi, I actually found a passion in photography, editing, and creating graphics in my free time, helping small businesses or just having fun with friends. I love that I got to carry that side of me in Alpha Chi, and help the chapter the best I can! I even had the opportunity to go to Indiana for Alpha Chi Omega's Leadership Academy, where I got to meet sisters with the same exact positions from the chapters all over the nation! Through this position, I learned so much about leadership, responsibility, marketing, and communication. In addition, I have met so many amazing people along the way that have taught me the greatest value of sisterhood and being there for one another.
Message to a PNM: Being in a sorority, you get to meet such a wonderful spectrum of such supportive and loving people! Finding that second home has been such a rock for me in not only having that support system throughout college, but creating such lifelong friendships with memories I will never forget. My advice for recruitment is to just be yourself and think of us as the friends you just haven't met yet! :)
