Last summer (2019) I was driving and was listening to the song Defying Gravity from the Broadway musical, Wicked, when I saw a car next to me with the license plate, “♡2defyg”, which I knew was about the song/musical. Two weeks later I saw the same car immediately after listening to the song. My friend thought it was some sort of sign, but I just thought it was a coincidence. Then flash forward to recruitment in the fall, during pref night my now big, Hayley, and I were obsessing over our love for Wicked and I told her the story. She said to me “you will be very happy at the end of the night”. Then before leaving, the whole chapter sang the song, For Good from Wicked. That was the sign for me to join Alpha Chi and I am so glad I did!
